Basically, if you have two brain cells to rub together, you have seeked out media that is more honest. If you don’t have the time or the brain cells, you basically sit in front of Fox News all day. This means that many Americans disagree about what the facts are. Those people that vote for Trump aren’t racist or stupid. They’re just misinformed. And as a result lots of people are going to be hurt because a handful of people with more money than makes sense control everything and are afraid that nice things for everyone will cut into their bottom line.

I’ve been married for 7 years. I do ask my wife how her day was, but that is because I actually care. How can people do this with strangers? Is it just assumed everyone is asking everyone else how their day was even if they don’t actually care?

I still think a good chunk of the code will be visible. You can have all the code up to the point where you call the proprietary function. Obviously you won’t get to see what’s inside that function but you can guess. Also, a lot of proprietary libraries have that functionality really well documented.
