Brass bell you say?

Funny, the statute $2500 should be for the circumvention act, which was likely singular, not per file obtained during or as a result of the act. And the $150k is ridiculous in and of itself, even if for all files obtained. What a strange world we live in.
Spotify built a system of control in order to profit a few at a cost to many, perhaps everyone else.
Someone broke that system in order to benefit many, possibly at the cost of some of their ability to profit from their system of control–if they didn’t lose customers, or prospective customers, they didn’t experience any financial loss, or a loss in their ability to maintain their system of control (which is still very much in place and working).
Either way, nobody was hurt.
But the person who acted selflessly to benefit of society in general is punished.
Because… We, as a society, celebrate and work effortlessly to maintain complex systems of abuse in order to satisfy our greed or the greed of others. All despite being taught in school not to lie to and bully each other, and to share with and care for each other.
As a species: We are bat shit fucking crazy!
I don’t know any pirates, but I sure do know a lot of people that share copies of files on the internet.

I run a matte screen protector on my S25. Installed it day one. Matte screens are great!
I was considering a nextpaper or ePaper device when I got the s25, but I wanted something more top of the line, but with a more paper like screen. I found the matte screen protector works great at softening the screen, making it more paper like, but the device isn’t low end, so I can throw anything at it and it just works.
I’ve had some rather disappointing experiences with lower end stuff.

99% of the internet is trash. Pages bouncing all over while loading, constant cookie or login popups (even with various blockers), links not connecting, old long outdated content being pushed to the front of searches, junk AI slop non-answers articles or marketing lists about a problem vs actual detailed answers…
Then there are all the various billing systems for various marketplaces, that all wanna require memberships for one time sales, before they tell you the shipping cost.
And so so much more.
It’s all heavily dysfunctional and lame and not user friendly at all anymore.
Just change the ring to blue so it stand out more.

I use a battery pump too, but have a manual in my trunk for backup. Never had any luck pouring a gas can–at least not since the 90s. The new fancy spouts make things worse! Plus those large cans are a bit heavy and awkward, especially when you have a wrist or back injury.
App doesn’t appear to work at all.
Might work with the floating button, but I won’t activate it to test.
The accessibility option it needs is unclear, it just sent me to the android accessibility setting tab with no idea what needs to be done there, if anything.
It didn’t replace my default assistant when I tried to change it.
Circletosearch says to double tap the status bar? Why? That doesn’t do anything?
I didn’t see anything sketchy about the app, but it doesn’t appear to be functional, so meh. Maybe try again after they’ve worked on it some more.

Ran into this on newpipe last week, just loaded a webpage in mobile Firefox then went back to newpipe and refreshed the page.
Not sure about your situation, but there are definitely work arounds for some situations.

If you hit up some sources for the wattage details for something in your size, you’ll notice that the energy star annual use matches, so you can just grab one around whatever energy star energy use rating that fits your needs.
It’s just a basic general conversion, but not all manufacturers are up front about wattages.
Also, remember they pull more power when the compressor kicks on, so make sure what power source you have can hit that max easy enough.

I’d double tap it: add a lot of bait and trap stations too, and set it up and run it a good long while without food in it. Sealed beverage bottles/cans are fine.
Just set a reminder for a week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks and a month, to check traps and refresh if necessary. Then add food if it’s all clear.

Well, I originally saw both Blair Witch and H20 played from really dark and messy VHS copies of theater recordings… And man, let me tell ya, they were both way better as low quality cams that HD movies!
I intentionally watch bad Horror as cams now, when I can, even decades later… It really adds to the experience!

Spoiler alert:
That side story, like the others, helps increase the absurdity of the overall story, to show that not only the time traveling bit is unrealistic, the entire story and all it’s parts are. Each party had a story that was equally absurd before the crazy time traveler showed up, but they were all still at that diner acting like they were still in the real world… It’s kinda like a snowball, the stories kinda ramp up to the conclusion, and they all tell different stories through the same lense in order to get there. Then it pulls from all those stories at the end to flip the script.
It was really well done.

They aren’t a public service, their goal is maximizing profits, the devices they manufacturer and the customer base they farm are just tools to that end.
Fairphone, on the other hand, is a Benefit corp, if I remember correctly.

I only hate you because of the color of your shirt!
SOs HP laptop borked Win11pro OS, wouldn’t load or recover. Tried reinstalling clean but Win11 installer can’t see SSD. Driver loading during install results in install crashing error.
Linux, here we come.

Though these new phones and most Samsung devices generally have high quality, durable, and reliable hardware, the devs are making pretty crappy choices about software changes and some hardware choices are just disappointing… This screen, the camera bumps, the old and outdated battery tech.
Samy is falling behind and mucking things up. They’re only likely to stay relevant because of their long standing history.
I mean, I wanna like their tech, but mostly I don’t right now, even though I used to love it… I can see business pros continuing to use their devices, but I don’t want an iPhone clone personally.

Where’s the second comparison picture that shows what it would look like with more 3 or 4 story or underground parking.
Everything everyone today says or thinks is plagiarized… Move along already, it don’t matter none. What does matter is how it, whatever it is, either benefits society or hurts it.
