Everyone and everything keeps getting hacked. And you can’t fix stupid. Job security?

I’m thinking about getting into cyber security, or maybe get an MFT and be a shrink. Idk. Job market kinda sucks

Jail. Right to jail.

You can ask for more at the new gig. If they offer more, give the current co an opportunity to match.

Changing jobs should get you a 10% pay bump or so ideally… not $1/hr more. If it’s a startup then the stock options are basically lottery tickets so I wouldn’t expect much.

If the new co is in a field that speaks to you then it could be worth it for a change of pace. Your current gig may want to hire you back in the future.

There’s no one right answer, unfortunately. Hope this helps anyway.

PS - what’s your skillset? I’m out here with zero jobs

Hmm… it’s gonna be tough to find brands that produce quality international news without something of a corpo bent.

Maybe if you have areas of interest you can find writers and reporters in that space who you can follow and perhaps compensate directly.

Also, have you considered Ground News?

I decided to put my personal website behind Cloudflare so I can use their “AI Labyrinth” as a tarpit

OP, can you please post the link without the google redirect?

Yep, some grass would help keep the dunes in place

Shall we mention also The Banana Company and, well, South America?

It is theoretically possible to clone or propagate the plants, although it would be against the terms, so definitely don’t do this and give them away
