for what, Bluetooth?
which adds latency btw, no bueno

also it’s not a trivial task to engineer for swapable EV batteries, doing so comes with a whole host of disadvantages / compromises that don’t make sense for most (I guess) consumers right now. It’s not very different from the phone battery issue, except on a huge scale and with much more severe consequences if things go wrong
Can you write a website in other languages, like c# or python?
sure, as long as it compiles to javascript
I think part of it is that some of the Lemmy crowd came over because they were banned on reddit for being hyper-disagreeable, rude, violent lil bastards
this wouldn’t be the first time it happens either
the chonk is only barely being contained
it has been shown that the MATE-XT upper limb exoskeleton and the MATE-XB lumbar device can reduce users’ effort by up to 30 percent
I guess every little bit helps, but I thought they’d be shooting for something like 50+% at least
don’t worry, they’ll tell you all about it
We have everything important figured out
well that’s how we know that you haven’t, because if you had actually spent enough time on it to think everything through, you wouldn’t be so confident about what you know and what you don’t know
If you are compelled to make a recursive algorithm iterative, consider using an explicit stack.
yep, did that once to solve a specific problem, worked fine and if I recall correctly I could do it without making a total mess of my code
do we need to go through the differences in training, aptitude and intelligence between pilots, captains and your neighbor Greg again? Marketing it as “autopilot” to anyone who can sign a car loan is reckless and has killed people and will continue to kill people until they stop
yes, my opinion is that 32gb was the minimum spec for a “pro” system 5 years ago. Nowadays, if 32gb is actually enough as a minimum spec then you’re in “enthusiast” territory in my opinion, not “pro”. Perhaps that’s more telling about my standards as a PC enthusiast though, and about how far PC hardware has come
no it wasn’t true back then either, CRTs have been doing 100hz and more decades ago and it was very much supported by OSes and games
32gb might have been “pro” 5 years ago but not anymore, not when a run of the mill 32gb DDR5 kit can be had for $100
you know what will solve those problems though? blame them on someone else. “oh yeah that bug, yeah sorry the package we’re using messed it up, there’s a PR for that”
nom nom nom
my man, just because you’ve never seen the refresh rate option in the monitor settings doesn’t mean it hasn’t been there since basically forever
yeah most weather you can easily deal with by dressing appropriately and accepting that you’re not going to be 100% comfortable all the time, especially when the distances aren’t too long. That said, I did have to endure some horrid weather as a kid on my bike to school that I’m not sure I’d want to put someone else through
looks interesting, it certainly is very cheap and the range / charging is good enough for many people in practice, even when many will think its not
you’d think this would be something they heavily try to make sure they get right
eh, I don’t think they’ve tried very hard at anything at all these last few cycles, except to make money
they aren’t, except perhaps as a counterexample of some dubious sort
