Other laptops don’t have this problem.
You can’t be serious. It’s 2024, and my laptop from 10 years ago needs 125% scaling at least. Get real.

He’s already owned it for nearly two years. I’d definitely take the over on that bet. I just don’t see what Twitter could possibly do that they haven’t done already to kill it?
Probably is there too but good luck getting anyone to fine them for it

Fix the issue with read posts. Can’t stand having to see the same top posts over and over again.
Looking at the datasheet and pictures I think the heatsink is just aluminum. Looks like an extrusion (which means it’s the same shape over the full length) with a solid center that they machine down in the middle area to mount the LEDs. The large amount of material and good conduction of the aluminum will absorb and distribute the heat without needing water cooling or heat pipes.
These LEDs use up to 200W and the heatsink on here probably weighs more than 10x as much as a heatsink on a 500+W graphics card. Watercooling and heat pipes are necessary when you need to get a lot of heat out with a minimum amount of material, such as for cars and home computers. Costs more than a big block of aluminum but the you don’t need to move that much wieght around. For a light like this, the extra weight and space it takes up doesn’t matter.
Gas being a better energy source than batteries in every way except for the health and environmental issues is a real bitch and why this is such a problem. Cords are a hassle and you will need a lot recharging batteries all the time, so you notice the downsides immediately and acutely. These are solvable problems though. Even running an efficient gas generator would be better for the health of landscaping contractors than being around 2 strokes all day.
MAKE GAS LANDSCAPING TOOLS ILLEGAL
Give away free electric tools if they trade in their gas ones. It’s so bad for health to be huffing 2 stroke fumes all day every day.
Edit, I realize that this is meant for a electric leaf blower since it would do fuck all for a gas one. Doesn’t change my opinion about landscaping tools tho
Fair. Logs are natural unless otherwise specified. You wouldn’t put log(37) if you wanted base 10, you’d do log_10(37).
Oops on the way to get my pillow I noticed something cool and now I’ve been reading Wikipedia for an hour.
SwiftKey will let you say fuck cunt shit all day. I’m sure other keyboards will too but I haven’t researched for a better one in a while since this one is fine.
Hmm I wonder if we just have different settings for it or use it differently. I mostly use SwiftKey these days as a fix for my terrible typing, rather than as predictive text. The predictive text is pretty bad in my opinion, but I’ll tell you what SwiftKey thinks about itself below.
(prompt in bold) SwiftKey predictive text is not associated to my records and the other two phases are slack and the other two phases are slack and the other two phases are slack (end of predictions)
It seems Microsoft hasn’t added GPT to it yet… Can’t even remember the last time I talked about slack.
Fridge takes hours to cool a drink, but put it in an ice bucket and it’ll be cold after you’re done pooping.
I’m just comparing a plug in that never gets charged to a standard hybrid. If you aren’t going to charge it regularly, you’re better off with a non-plug-in. Both are better than a non-hybrid, but if only the last 5% of battery capacity is being used that all the resources that go into the other 95% of the battery are wasted.
Plug in hybrids usually do worse in mpg when in hybrid mode compared to standard hybrids, so if someone buys a plug in but doesn’t charge it, it’s actually worse than buying a standard hybrid. Regen braking is awesome but it won’t charge a plug in’s battery. The energy you get from braking 45-0mph would likely only get you back up to 15 to 30mph due to all the efficiency losses, plus you still need more energy to maintain speed.
Because if they are charged regularly then they’ll be operated in EV mode most of the time emitting 0% carbon. Plug in hybrids also usually do worse in mpg when in hybrid mode compared to standard hybrids, so if someone buys a plug in but doesn’t charge it, it’s actually worse than buying a standard hybrid.
Are there really states where the security deposit is not able to be used for unpaid rent or other unpaid fees?
I bet you’ll get used to it with a few days of using it. But as long as the swipe colors are orange/blue it’s going to trip you up.
I thought R2 is pretty much the size of a Honda CRV, much bigger than a Fit. The Fit has very little 2nd row room and a pathetic amount of space behind the seats, about as wide as a single carryon suitcase.
The R3 looked like the size of a Civic (but taller) and I do hope that one can get down into the 20k range, but I’ll be surprised. Model 3 is still nearly 40k at minimum.
There’s no need to make these things Big Tech, so if that’s why you are opposed to it, reconsider what you are actually opposed to. This could be implemented in a FOSS way or an open standard.
So you not trust HTTPS because you’d have to trust big tech? Microsoft and Google and others sign the certificates you use to trust that your are sending your password to your bank and not a phisher. Like how any browser can see and validate certificates, any camera could have a validation or certificate system in place to prove that the data is straight from an unmodified validated camera sensor.
