It’s in the export menu, called Hybrid PDF.

And good luck for that kid to go online if I confiscate their device.

Fuck these oligarchs trying to solve a parenting problem with technology and eroding everyone’s privacy.

One thing I do like from LibreOffice is the ability to save to PDF but also embed the original document inside it.
That way almost anyone can see it as intended, and the original is still there for editing.

Interesting, I’ll have to check how it compares to Cinny.

Personally I still prefer the desktop because I can choose exactly where I prefer performance, and where I can make some tradeoffs. Also, parts are easier to replace when they fail, making them more sustainable. You don’t have that choice with a laptop since it’s all prebuilt.

I’d give them a promotion.

Sadly no way to host your own instance yet, but it does look promising.

Eufy is a sub-brand of Anker, for those unaware.
You can connect Eufy cameras to your NAS (RTSP) if you want to completely avoid sending the recording to the cloud, or only stored on the MicroSD card.

At least they covered that 😬

The part that worries me is what happens when the glasses batteries are empty. Do they get fall back to “long-distance / myopia” mode so that you can still see at at distance and able to drive?
I love tinkering with gadgets, but sometimes the manufacturers of these tech-based version forget to cover the basics before enhancing it with tech.
A good example are smartwatches. They can be filled with sensors, but they need to at least do one thing well, and that is to show time reliably.

It’s like signing a contract, you have only yourself to blame if the contract sucks but didn’t read it before putting your signature on it.

It will inevitably focus more on pleasing its public investors than anything else, therefore enshittification.
Maybe Steam/Valve is a unicorn, but it’s not publicly traded and it’s doing just fine.
That’s the default time when the CMOS battery is dead and the RTC is reset.
