I’ve still been using the HTML version on desktop. I just got a notice that it’ll be discontinued come 2024. It’s actually a nice nudge to de Gmail myself.

When I’m browsing “everything”, and see a post I want to filter out I click the three dots, then at the bottom of the popup there’s a filter tab. From there you can filter out from seeing posts from that person or from that community.

It appears filtered communities are not filtered when viewing/browsing an instance.
