If you do replace it, some loctite on the threads would be worthwhile

Oh, maybe 35 minutes or so.
I had 6 razors to clean, and I wasn’t in a hurry.
I soaked them in warm water with some dish soap, then used a soft bristle toothbrush to scrub the residue off.
Then I applied a dab of mineral oil to the ones with exposed threads.
