Same thing with email servers. I could create my own email server and fake entire conversation with anyone in my inbox/sent folders but I can’t do it on a server I don’t control like gmail.

I agree. This could be abused.

1. create your own instance
2. manually update your instance’s database to make it look like your account is so old with tons of comments and posts
3. migrate your account to another instance.

Now your 1 week old account appear as a 10 year old account with 100s of contributions and 1000s of upvotes.

This could be mitigated by having migration tool validate each comment/post against the data obtained from the instance the comment/post was placed at.

But this is too much work and probably still not fool proof

If you create a new account you always start fresh regardless.

OP is asking why there is no mechanism for migrating an account available for those who need this feature.

Firefox has few tricks to prevent finger printing

1. There is a built in finger printing protection which helps a little bit but not perfect
2. There is containers: Putting different websites into different containers isolate them from one another so for example opening a website selling toys in one container would prevent your facebook account that is running in different container from knowing about this fact.
3. There is an extension called NoScript. This allow you to do what you want (block javascript) but since - as many others said - 99% of website won’t work without javascript, u could selectively allow certain javascript from certain domains while blocking others. By default all javascript are blocked but then u test enabling some to see what is the absolute minimum for certain website to work. NoScript remembers your selections so you only need to do it once per website.

when you try to connect to a VPN you send certain request. firewalls could read that request, determine its an attempt to connect to a VPN and block it.

Exactly this. Most Egyptians could speak Greek by the time Romans ruled Egypt and continued to learn and speak Greek until Arab conquest when Greek eventually became irrelevant
