I always thought “jury-rig” was a nautical term that fell out of use centuries ago and has only reappeared because some people who heard the phrase “jerry-rigged” and were not familiar with the word “jerry” thought they must have said “jury”. Meh, wouldn’t be the first time I didn’t know what I was talking about.

I think many people forget that these deluded middle of the road hogs think that they are just one lucky break or miracle away from being the rich and connected themselves. This is why they insatiably lick their spittle. Prosperity gospel tells them so.

I used to like the English version of The Killing better (and I still think it is amazing). I watched them both not long after they came out. I just went back and watched them both and now I like the Danish version better.
