I remember seeing a video at some point but not if it were cutscene/promo or gameplay
Reddit -> Beehaw until I decided I didn’t like older versions of Lemmy (though it seems most things I didn’t like are better now) -> kbin.social (died) -> kbin.run (died) -> fedia.
Japan-based backend software dev.

I might have to get to them at some point, then; time is the limiting factor now as I work 1.5 jobs and have all the normal home maintenance/work on top of that.
Playing FFVII once was plenty for me and I’ve no desire to play its v2 (doubly so if the camera/controls are the same as the PS1 version, though I doubt that). XVI I didn’t even know about. Disliking the camera/controls of VII was part of the reason I never played the later ones except for the MMOs.
Work has me using my current phone for alerts on my on-call rotation. I asked them to send me a pager instead if I can’t properly filter the alerts (Jira on Android has at least 2 sets of notification settings and then there are settings apparently within Jira. I was getting basically every Jira, Confluence, etc. message).
I had a similar one that ran windows (CE maybe? I don’t recall)
We basically have this in Japan. People will put their bike back to factory for the inspection and then change it out. They get caught rarely, but not often. loud-assed 暴走族 (bousouzoku) groups love to ride around in the countryside where I live and I can hear them from quite far. I really wish the police would do something about them.
Not in my country!
(Seriously, though, Japan doesn’t do joint bank accounts).
I have an LG with WebOS and have youtube premium and haven’t seen any ads so far (though it may be regional). Cheers for the link, tough. I wonder if it works on Japanese versions
Generally yes and generally no, in that order. At least in the call centers I worked where one could wear about anything. At my shirt-and-tie job, generally yes and yes.
I should note that I haven’t lived in the US in years, so I don’t know what things look like today.
I worked in an actual call center in my 20s and, aside from the interview where it’s advisable to dress somewhat nicely, we were mostly free to wear whatever we wanted as long as it kept all the appropriate bits covered enough.
As someone older than the public internet, these people and positions always existed. The difference in my opinion is that the 24-hour news cycle and online echo chambers combined with less in-person meeting, particularly with others in the community different to oneself has just further isolated and polarized people. There’s also an argument that heavily-biased cable “news” (which is oftentimes more “opinions” and sometimes “outright lies”) going unchecked has further polarized and divided people.
The EU is big and varied so I think that’s a pretty broad question. I did visit a few countries but was too poor as a young adult to move to any. I moved to Japan later in life. If I had it to do again, I would probably pick Norway or maybe Finland.
My wife likes instant coffee. I use a french press and pre-ground coffee. I go through probably about a kilo a month so something like 800 to 1000 JPY
You are correct and I am aware of that. However, it also seems that they both refuse to learn it and refuse to work with people at that expert level based on the recent drama, which seems very much like holding things back to me.
I mean, I work as a software engineering and if I’m not doing continuing ed, be it about architecture, storage, or new languages, I’m going to be of less value in the marketplace. I’ve learnt languages I didn’t particularly want to in the past for work (though I generally came to tolerate or even like some of them. Not lua, though; lua can go to hell).
If Rust truly is the better, safer option, then these people are holding everything back.
Firefox. I do have chrome for when I need to quickly navigate japanese sites (usually government/visa stuff)
I’m on the fence, but about a microdevito from agreeing
It’s probably going to be a kitten sort of day; I’m stress testing and trying to address the pain points (which so far is mostly on all the other services outside my code that can’t keep up; not a bad place to be).
I’m not sure I understand. The game is available on other platforms, but that’s not what your post’s title is asking, specifically mentioning ‘on PS5’. Or were you trying to point something else out that I’m not awake enough to see yet?
For what it’s worth, I’ve not heard of it on Steam, either, but I effectively work two jobs right now so I don’t have much time to game, sadly, and don’t often keep up with the news.
Indeed, but I still do somewhat keep up with various gaming news, so it seems weird that XVI didn’t leave any real impression in my head unless I did somehow just totally miss it
