Main advantage to me is Granular permissions and segregation : each site can have different types of permissions associated and it’s easier to delegate site management (you can let the user manage their site) while limiting blast radius in case of error.

Started to test changedetection (https://github.com/dgtlmoon/changedetection.io) for similar usecases (monitoring government grant webpages), it can also detect change in pdf, but I didn’t test that feature that much. Worked fine so far for me.

I use proton, but I think the calendar is a paid option. Tuta seems to include the calendar in their free tier Side note, I used to selfhost my mails, but over time this became a pain and I would not recommend anymore
