Isn’t it just firefox -p [name of profile]?
(Not as scary as I look, I promise)

He should do a photo op where he gets the skull removed and has a hammer and sickle tattooed there instead.
EDIT: Ok, looks like he went with a Celtic doggie-knot thingie instead.

Since Mrs. Erinaceus is considering switching, I was going to try and steer her towards Mint, but since she’s a gamer and I’m not (I know, boring) perhaps this would not be the best choice? Please tell me more.

So, possibly off-topic here, but any thoughts from the folks at Graphene about the whole Google dev registration/F-Droid kerfuffle? with regard to possibly forking from Android?

Didn’t even think of that. Thanks! 🤩

Has it got a calendar by any chance, or is one planned?

Ok, so I’m not the only one! If I hit “quit” instead of just swiping the window away when I’m done, the next time I open Fennec it doesn’t hang, but I usually forget to do this. I also have it set to delete everything (except, I think, cookies) on “quit.”

Kind of out of my depth here, but what machine are you running it on?

Another vote for Mint.
I continue to have good luck with FreeTube, FWIW.

Really out of my depth here, but anyway—
What model computer does your mom have? Does it by any chance have solid state drives that are RAID 0?
Have you tried Linux Mint? After really struggling with Fedora, I was able to get Mint up and running after a few minimal problems and haven’t looked back since.
Actually, full disclosure, I have to water down the coffee Mrs. Erinaceus makes, otherwise I’m risking heart palpitations and panic attacks, hence the need for a larger mug. Hmmm…I wonder if I could somehow learn to make the coffee myself… 🤔
If only they sold coffee mugs! Every time I look somewhere for swag, even if they do have coffee mugs, they’re just these diddly little 10 oz things–not big enough for this coffee achiever!

Now that I think of it, I do remember them asking for my address and phone number in order to sign up . . .

Infomaniak? Thundermail? The latter only has a waitlist for now, unfortunately.

Thank you! 🙂👍
I kind of liked visiting https://getpocket.com/explore just to read some of the stories they had posted there, but oh well.
Is Mozilla on its last legs?
EDIT: a more highbrow alternative to the pocket explore articles is Arts & Letters Daily.

For duplicates: Czkawka. Also, you get a gold ⭐ if you can figure out how to pronounce it 😉

I changed my user agent string to following and problem went away.
Thank you 👍
Time to check in with Mom and Dad, I guess…
