I’m not sure this kind of stupid can be quantized… I’m pretty sure it’s fundamentally continuous…

Good luck. Office life is usually bereft of good coffee.
I used to do pour overs, and got plenty of mileage out of that. Before then I’d used a French press but cleanup became a gigantic pain in the ass…
My recommendation would be a hand grinder, V60, and a gooseneck kettle. Clever drippers are the tits as well.
Tin whiskers have also been identified as the cause of some satellites going down too, so spacecraft definitely still using leaded solder.

Also recommend looking at the homepage of that site. Lots of cool pictures and research papers on metal whiskering.
Well, it’s a practicality thing. I’ve researched all the various roasters out there over the years, and always balked at the price tag. I’ve recently been gifted a nice grill though and had the thought of possibly of using that. After some looking online I found that while not the most common way of doing it, some folks do it frequently.
Your post and reply to my comment has sent me down a rabbit hole I’ve been down many times but with a new angle. I’ve wanted to try my hand at home roasting for a while, but now I think I want to try it on my grill outside.
So is your setup in your house? I understand there’s quite a bit of smoke and it can really smell your house out if you do it indoors.
Do you let the coffee degas a bit before you brew with it? What’s your preferred brew method?
You said you do 4x 250g batches per session. I assume that’s 250g of raw green beans going into the roaster… what’s the yield per batch coming out at the end?
How do you source your green beans?
That’s awesome! I looked it up on Amazon. I might need to get one or two for my little shit machines.
Looks to me like some sort of felt hidey hole where they can curl up and relax in the dark
What’s that Biscuit is hiding in?
Yeah, it was fucking stupid expensive at about that same rate. I think in the end, it was more like $1200 or $1300 because there were more teeth that needed to be pulled than she could get eyes on during the exam. I decided to do it b/c there were so many teeth that needed pulling and that it would likely only get worse if I let it go longer.
Might get worse anyway…
One of my little guys had to go through that back in August. What’s amazing is that he had to eat wet food for several days, and he and my other cat absolutely don’t like wet food. Even when they were kittens, I tried getting them some nice refrigerated wet food as a treat a few times… barely touched.
I was astonished when my vet told me that once he healed he could go back to dry food. Cats apparently hardly chew their food at all. Vinnie didn’t need all his teeth out, but he had like 8 or 9 removed, and the vet said even if all his teeth had been removed he’d be able to eat dry food.
After the surgery we started calling him gummy nubbins.
Ugh… I really try to keep shit like that from happening. Autocorrect bonked on “carnivore” too, and that’s what grabbed my attention.
Damnit… that’s what I get for trying to sound smart, lol.
Yeah… don’t pay any attention to this kind of nonsense. Cats are obligated to carnivores. They don’t have the machinery to process a lot of non-meat foods. If they occasionally get into some things, it shouldn’t cause a problem.
Ultimately, just listen to your vet.
So far as the milk and cats thing… I think the issue is that they love it, they’ll almost always go for it, but many if not most are lactose intolerant… so too much will cause issues. If you had a cat who could process it, then great!
I just missed this gen entirely, and with the exception of the Switch’s successor, I don’t think I’m going to be buying another console for a very long time.
I used to be a dedicated console gamer… I had an NES growing up, then a Genesis, Saturn, and Dreamcast. Picked up a Game Cube somewhere along the way. Then I had the Xbox, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, WiiU, and finally the XBOne and Switch. I’ve had PCs mixed in there from time to time, but most gaming was done in the living room on console.
Then the Series X/S and PS5 come around… there were the massive supply issues, and everything was moving to 4K and I didn’t have 4K, and none of it seemed worth the upgrade. At this point my laptop was a dinosaur from 2011 and needed to be replaced anyway. So I built a desktop PC, which gets gamed on alongside my Switch, and my XBOne has been gathering dust.
Field of Dreams
Yeah… I should really get better about posting before I read the article…
Eh… it’s probably a rental if I had to guess. Look at the decal numbers on the front. They’re probably going to a rally, and they probably rented it b/c I imagine the walks from the car are brutal.
The shirts are abhorrent, but no sense in mocking someone who might need something like that for legitimate reasons. Make fun of them for being a moron and supporting the party that would make the medical care their daughter might one day need to survive illegal in all circumstances.
