In the settings I’ve found card view and compact view, but even in card view images are not full sized.
Is there a way to enable this through some other means? I dislike having to open images all the time when scrolling to view the entire thing.
Disclaimer: I’m using the development version, so this may or may not work for you.
Go to Settings>Appearance>Posts.
Scroll down to find Card View Settings section and the option for Show Full Height images should be under that.
Hope this helps!
Also helpful, thank you. You’re the one who recommended me Thunder in the first place!
Aah, I’m being recognized on Lemmy!
What is this sorcery?
ETA: Also, thank you.
If you tap-and-hold on any particular setting in Thunder, a direct link to that setting will be copied to the clipboard, already properly (markdown) formatted to be posted to Lemmy.
That’s amazing. I wish more apps did that.
This is some mind blowing UX right here.
That worked, thanks!
Glad I could help!
Relevant question, is there a way to have images be scaled to the device height, and not cropped? For example this post: https://lemmy.world/post/25659176
When clicking on this image, it shows up scaled to the height of my phone, allowing me to zoom in to full size, but in the feed, the post requires a lot of scrolling to get past.
