Look there’s alot of people not toerating your post, an I also will leave it at I don’t like the actions of your group. That’s all.

I have enough people in my direct community with information gaps to give energy to. Its always an intense process for all involved debating - so all I have left here is final evaluations. Especially for people THIS opposite

i get the impression your externalizing some previous conflict onto a group of dieters.

There is a difference between people expressing their dislike (downvoting) and being intolerant. I’m fully aware lemmy has about 4 active zero carb posters, we are a tiny group. I’m not worried about people not liking my community, that is fine, I am promoting the community to find other people who actually want to talk about and interact with the diet.

      people THIS opposite

I’m very surprised that people see a diet as a political thing, and I’m sorry we are stuck in that discussion. Some people define themselves by their intolerance of others, and I think that isn’t great for lemmy.

Your diet profoundly affects others. You have an environmental footprint several times what a typical extremely wasteful human consumes. You cause outsized trauma and suffering among the billions of individuals living in atrocity. How can you not see that it is political.

I have to be in good health to make a positive impact on the world, and we strongly disagree on the ruminant biocycle. Ruminants have lived on this earth for a very long time, they are not a net polluter - they are part of the natural cycle.

You have to want to believe that, and be willing to ignore mountains of research to the contrary, for it to be convincing. But that’s not the point. It’s downright disingenuous to say your diet has no political aspect. It’s hugely political. You just don’t want to think about the political component.

its only political because you have decided to base your entire identity around what other people do and eat. You have decided to make it political.

We can see this by your downvoting every comment i make… your not here to engage, your here to wave the flag.

and yet I still don’t know why the Paradox of Intolerance would apply to a zero-carb community…

you ask about reasons but actually just care so much about my individual opinion. I told you about my stance on giving my personal opinion on this matter

If you would want to get some plausible reasons you could inform yourself by typing all that into ie Qwant. You are old enough, I believe in you
