Made it out of Homasote sound barrier board and covered it in wine-colored fabric. Could use some trim on the outer edges to make it look cleaner, but im not rushing to do that. Not only is it easy on the dart tips, it also deadens the overall sound of the darts hitting the dartboard.

    Homasote is a brand name associated with the product generically known as cellulose-based fiber wall board, which is similar in composition to papier-mâché, made from recycled paper that is compressed under high temperature and pressure.

    Used for soundproofing. Cool. I’d never heard of that before. Little spendy, though.
