TBH they probably got it stolen or did something stupid with contracts. Or leveraged it, or bought and sold a lot. Or gave it to some pyramid scheme. Who knows?
That’s the thing with Etherium. Its security basically relies on the user being a digital lawyer, and no one is coming to help if something goes wrong. Or even if you do everything right, and get hacked anyway.
I don’t like nor own ethereum but it’s not that down, even my ex has been profitable buying it
