Is there a reason why there is no “Hide post” button on the UI ? I prompted one using multiple AI (script for Violentmonkey) that works fine but I was wondering why cant we have one like Reddit has ? I’m not a fan of using the 3 dots menu everytime.

Different Lemmy apps and frontends have different features; perhaps make a feature request for the feature to be added as a toggleable option in the default UI?

any Lemmy client would do I guess, but the script I use in the video is from the web ui.
Mlem has a hide post button you can add to your post action bar.
