I’m tired of pretending that parents didn’t sign up for absolutely every part of being parents. They get no fucking sympathy from me. They chose that and they’re inflicting it on everyone around them all the time who didn’t get a choice. My sympathy is reserved for the childfree people who just wanted to eat dinner or watch a movie and got an earful of screaming child and a case of the daycare flu for their troubles.
