      What if we have send bill collectors after the bill collectors and watch the industry eat itself.

    For a sec I was agreeing with the sovcit. Then I realized what sort of post it was. It’s true that there’s a lot of BS predatory debt collectors. I’ve heard of some people getting hounded by some collectors that want to collect on passed away relatives debt.

    Weird. Thought they were in full agreement of debt collectors when they signed the agreement of terms. They read that part before agreeing to it, right?

    I mean yeah, there probably should be sanctions on companies that file fraudulent claims - DMCA is routinely abused by companies just churning out notices with no regard for if they actually have the legal right to claim, and there should be consequences for doing that.

    I suspect in this case the debt they are complaining about might actually be legit. Don’t know why, just a feeling. Another case of a sovcit being so, so close to actually being sensible before veering off into the weeds
