there were other options that didn’t obviously support a nazi. by the time they started shipping it was clear who this person was. you had other options from ford, rivian, and gm. you chose not to take them for some reason
fuckin’. WHAT!?
like i absolutely believe you, but this sounds completely insane
so… sony pictures i a money laundering scheme, right? am i crazy to think this?
my objection to snaps came before i knew they were proprietary. they actually factually run worse
thank you alduous huxley for the warning. maybe with the next rise of fascism we’ll be better equipped to listen to the story tellers warning us about the dangers we’re in
bandcamp gets the crown for “most least worst.” i’ve even met a few artists who say they prefer fans to stream on bandcamp to spotify or qobuz because they make enough more money per purchase than per stream, and enough streams convert to purchases, that they get paid more the more people are listening on bandcamp
for some people it’s an excellent topical ointment. for others like me, we’re allergic and it makes us itchy

gotacha. i’ve only ever heard them called ternaries. maybe i’m old. maybe i’m too young. definitely one of the two
been programming since 2008. the fuck is an elvis operator?
clown distro makes clown decision
he knows the nfl is stealing the value he creates. he doesn’t need to pay them
read up to date current docs and know they are for the current working state of the system, potentially when i don’t have a net connection because i’m troubleshooting PID 0/1
turkeys straight up fly, they’re not even semi flighted like chickens
that’s a great example of bad docs.
this is everything i see monitoring Linux boxes everyday. we’ve shifted mostly to OpenRC about it. i can’t imagine defending SystemD if you have experienced anything other than it and SysInitV. yeah compared to SysInitV, it’s really nice, but to say it’s good and stable? that’s like praising your landlord for all the work they do and the reason they haven’t fixed your broken dishwasher is because they’re so busy from what a good landlord they are
probably don’t even post or interact with lemmy.ml. strip them of influence by simply disengaging from their squishy power
