I mean “that year’s taxes” is dubious given state borrowing in many countries. But the government pay for it.
Private pensions might get fucked, but they still get the state pension. So… Oh no, you might not be quite as better off as you hoped? Hard to care too much.

Its due to laws on data harvesting on children. If coop doesn’t harvest that data then they could give them to children too. Tbh more people should probably be mad at Tesco for harvesting that data, but they don’t.

What next, ID verification required to open an Argos catalogue? Go into Tesco? Although, Tesco already charge you more if you are under 18 as children can’t join their card system
Or I live in a different country with different pensions. Here the government pays for it from general taxation and its pretty generous.
Honestly could argue its too much, if you have used your working years to buy a house you are probably going to be better off than a minimum wage worker. Calculated it based on my mortgage rate, minimum wage and pension a couple of years ago anyway.

Per install? Is that for each time you install it or each user? How do you even count an install? You can just run a game from a folder. Is copy/paste an install, what about moving a folder, or switch a drive to another PC?
Oh well, Rimworld is probably the game I play most using unity and they are moving away from it.
Throwing at invading uruk-hai
Don’t invest in AI companies for your pension then?
If it crashes before they even get to IPO, who are the investors I get to point and laugh at?

Reductions in complaints because everyone who would complain has left instead.

Multiple different files can have the same checksum when you are generating enough of them.

How the fuck do you enforce this? If I sent my few TB homework folder to a friend in France, why should I pay for that? We are both paying our ISP to do their fucking job and maintain the connection.
Are they going to make the internet free now as clearly uploaders are the ones paying for if instead now?
Also terrible as this encourages leeching.

Agreed, metric prefixes should always remain consistent. Computers can read both though, so why doesn’t windows?
Really? I find bad days are still 10-20Mbit, good days its 50-100. Not sure if switching to a 5G router would improve the actual speeds I get much or not, should do at some point.
Surprised about zoom calls. I worked from home for years with it using teams and never had a problem. Can even play online games just fine.
I can’t be bothered to do all that so I just decided fuck all of them as every wired provider is like that. Using mobile data instead and the only time I had an issue was when my card expired and I forgot to update it then my internet dropped out. They sorted it pretty quickly when I called them to switch over to my new card.
At the time my phone had no data at all. Now its got 3GB so I could just use that and do it online.

Yep, not logging in, that killed off the last bit of usage I had for reddit.
I could see something like /20 being useful not so much for the number of addresses but to group things by use case, then /8 because you don’t care and it doesn’t matter. Also 10.0 is quicker to type and cleaner to look at than 192.168
I use the low numbers for statics, less to remember/communicate if its a 1/2 digit number instead of 3.
I’ll take the greens. Only candidate in the last election who has done anything beneficial to society. Last I saw her she was taking part in a clean up at the local beach.
Labour candidate was a gymbro. Libdem hadn’t bothered to update his profile since running in a previous election over 100 miles away, Tory is current MP and voted to allow water companies to endlessly dump sewage on the beach. She is also a fucking moron (or happy to pander to far right hate mobs) based on the few posts I have heard of from her.
