How about NixOS where the OS automatically installs the correct software and chooses the right settings. Then you have the time fiddle on your config for hours 🌈

23·5 months agoNever understood this argument. It has nice rethorics but proves nothing. the problem with text prediction != intelligence is that we can’t even define intelligence. I hate AI as much as the next guy here, but that doesn’t mean we should do lazy assertions and quoting dumb arguments.

1·6 months agoYeah totally agree. I can give it credit for being adapted for better accommodating flutter, but it has extremely many things where it does not come across as modern
When you want to do foundational research but need money from private investors.
Flutter uses dart. It’s one of the best ui building frameworks I have used. Not that it is perfect…

No it’s not good from the point of the book! In every single episode (every episode is a short story from the first book) they made at least one critical mistake that completely erases what makes the short stories so genius in the book. It’s madining because the look and feel is very nicely captured and there was no reason to not follow the book more closely in the crutial plot points… ahhh such a wasted opportunity. I don’t care much about the rest. I think only the first Witcher book is really good.
