Huh, I actually had to look at the At a Glance but to see what you were talking about. I’ve just taken it as a given that I can’t use the top 1/3 of the screen or the bottom strip.

I have a whole collection of to-do lists! One for every conceivable situation. The only lists that ever get checked off are grocery lists, and even then I get home and realise I’ve forgotten something.

I degoogled to Proton mail initially. I didn’t like that I couldn’t search my emails (a security thing or something? But annoying) and then their Drive was absolutely useless on macos. I had about 100gb and it couldn’t sync even half of it.

After much help from support I eventually moved away to a combo of Fastmail, Mega and OnlyOffice.

I just ditched Proton Unlimited after moving to it last year from Google. The Drive app just never worked properly. Ended up going with Fastmail for email as I’m in Australia anyway and so far they’ve been good.

What if I don’t use Assistant? Does it still have access to other parts of my phone?

I’m in the same boat, the issue is my pixel 6 pro has a big smash on the screen so the Graphene option isn’t possible. I used to have a Xiaomi and actually really liked it but I hear they’re changing the os/UI? Also I dunno about ads, that sounds crap.

Maybe, but I’m not a huge Linux user and every time I dip my toe in I run out of tinkering time. Plus I had the Air laying around and it all installed so easily.

Just to be controversial, macos. It’s nothing fancy, just the arrs and Jellyfin running on an old MacBook air.

Yeah they are, most of the best and affordable EVs are at the moment. I couldn’t stand myself if I went near anything Musk though.
