Tesla can detect a crash and send the last minute of data back so all cars learn from is. I don’t know if they do but they can.
A tree is a terrible representation since people will appear in more than one place on it. brother sisters marriages (which did happen) tend to produce deformed kids, but first cousins have good odds for normal kids. By third cousin odds of genetic issues was close enough to zero, but those kids will have six great great grand parents not the mathematical eight. I didn’t mention half siblings but that happens too and a couple generations below could marry safely.
the above isn’t just theoretical. Before modern transport you often lived and married in the same village for many generations. It would often be impossible to find anyone to have kids with that wasn’t at least sixth cousins from more than one path.

You should know how to brake without causing maneuver problems (including not locking up the wheels). It is a basic skill needed for many situations. Just keep slowing down, the accelerate just before impact is something that can only be done in movies - any real world attempt will be worse - remember if you keep braking you lose momentum, so the acceleration needs to be perfectly timed or it is worse.
I don’t know, where I live giraffes are only in the zoo and thus never on the road. I’m not aware of any escaping the zoo.
I’m sure if I lived around wild deere, my training would include that, but since I don’t I was able to save some time by not learning that.
Deer often travel in herds so where there is one there are often more. In rural area you can go miles without seeing one, and then see 10 in a few hundred feet. There are deer in those miles you didn’t see them as well, but they happened to not be near the road then.
Driving is full of edge cases. Humans are also bad drivers who get edge cases wrong all the time.
The real question isn’t is Tesla better/worse in anyone in particular, but overall how does Tesla compare. If a Tesla is better in some situations and worse in others and so overall just as bad as a human I can accept it. Is Tesla is overall worse then they shouldn’t be driving at all (If they can identify those situations they can stop and make a human take over). If a Tesla is overall better then I’ll accept a few edge cases where they are worse.
Tesla claims overall they are better, but they may not be telling the truth. One would think regulators have data for the above - but they are not talking about it.
Sure, I do that too. I also have had damage because a deer I didn’t see jumped out of the trees onto the road. (Though as others pointed out this case the deer was on the road with plenty of time to stop (or at least greatly slow down), but the Tesla did nothing.
Deer on the road is an edge case that humans cannot handle well. In general every option other than hitting the deer is overall worse - which is why most insurance companies won’t increase your rates if you hit a deer and file a claim for repairs.
The only way to not hit/kill hundreds of deer (thousands? I don’t know the number) every year is to reduce rural speed limits to unreasonably slow speeds. Deer jump out of dark places right in front of cars all the time - the only option to avoid it that might work is either drive in the other lanes (which sometimes means into an oncoming car), or into the ditch (you have no clue what might be there - if you are lucky the car just rolls, but there could be large rocks or strong fence posts and the car stops instantly. Note that this all happens fast, you can’t think you only get to react. Drivers in rural areas are taught to hit the brakes and maintain their lane.
upgrade your house insulation, get a heat pump on the central furnace, and heat the whole house. People have better things todo than closing vents or moving heaters., your central furnace needs most of the vents open to work right.
Coco powder is an option I use as well. A little bit will change the flavor in a nice way. (this is often the secret to real Mexican food)
It is a proxy for don’t use too much on the busy towers. In small towns it doesn’t matter, but if you are in a downtown the tower will have many people connecting to it and the radio frequencies are shared. By putting a limit on everyone they force better sharing of that limited bandwidth. The limit is very large - far more that than the large abusers will use alone, but in a dense areas it is less than the common person will use all at once.
Tmoblie has (or had?) a binge on plan - if you used video (which we quickly figured out meant low quality - but probably good enough for a tiny phone screen) or audio you were using a lot of data, but it was consistent all day and so they didn’t have to count it - if the tower doesn’t have enough bandwidth for everyone on the first day of the month they have to fix that. That is the real worry: the tower running out of bandwidth on the first day of the month.
Humans are bad drivers as well. Technology should try to do better than humans, not accept the limitations of humans. When Radar, lidar (and others - possibly including things not invented yet) exist we should use them to make cars safer.
What you really need is a small keypad with a tab key [in a useful spot]. I don’t think anyone makes that, but it sounds like what you need. One nice thing about DIY - you can choose the layout and keys that make sense for your workflow.
Remember there is no rule the says you only need one keyboard, or even that the keyboards have to be connected to the same window (I actually had it working once where I had two keyboards that went to different windows - but it was tricky to setup and not everything worked - in the end I didn’t find it useful but YMMV)
You are overstating it. all evidence I can find is only a small percentage are not guilty. Of course that small possibility is enough for me to be against the death pentalty. If we had a way to be 100% sure of guilt I’d favor death but since we don’t I can’t go that far.
That depends a lot. there is a big difference between that area between big box stores where the semi trucks drive, the workers are smoking and the dumpster is; and a nice park. I’ll walk miles in a park. I’ll walk miles in a mall (any mall). I’ve walked the distance between big box stores and it was unpleasant and not something I’d recommend to anyone - and I’d never walk it with my kids.

From the from door to one to the front door to the next is just barely reasonable walking distance - and that is assuming you take unsafe shortcuts, go around the parking lot on the sidewalks and it isn’t a reasonable walk (if there is snow they pile that between the two doors). If you want to go to some third store instead of the second you can’t get there in a reasonable walk.
there are many different ways to do a big store. Big box stores are not necessarily any bigger than the others, but the layout of the doors is such that anything other than driving is discouraged by the design and if you do anyway you realize it isn’t safe. There are other big stores where walking is reasonable.
Isn’t there bluetooth? My wife’s van predates all this car/phone integration things, but bluetooth still works just great. You shouldn’t be changing the channel while driving or whatever it is that those excra tools give you. (my car features a cassette deck which is annoying when I want to listen to something, but I almost never drive so it works)
