Who needs coffee when you can wake yourself up with personal grooming
That’s just cruel.
I’ve got a couple apps that I use so I’ll have to check with them. Thank you for the web instructions, I’ll hold onto them for next time!
With how competitive the current market is for job hunting, I would stick with the more stable company.
If you can hold a clearance and are a US citizen, maybe look for government jobs.
Consider internships, too.
Don’t think about salary at this point, experience is really what you need to focus on. Get a couple years under your belt and then you can search for something that pays better.
Lastly, be kind to yourself. Applying for jobs is hard. It takes a lot of effort then feels very personal when you get rejected or ghosted. That’s normal. Do your best to keep your head high and do something small every day. Best of luck, friend.
This explains why I didn’t get it. I thought Community was ok but never understood why it was so popular. To be honest, I didn’t think it was funny. Guess I just don’t get pop culture references. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
That’s beautiful. Thank you for the great explanation!
That’s awesome! Would you mind walking me through locking/banning? I thought I explored all the options but this is my first time being a mod and using Sync so it’s been a ton of information.
Edit: Is there a FAQ or documentation I can read? Sorry for all the noob questions.
To be honest, I’m really not sure what mod powers I even have on Lemmy. The things that stick out to me are:
Edit sub ‘about’ page
Lock threads
Ban users, also view banned users and un-ban
Thank you for making Sync + Lemmy and thank you for working so hard to make it user/mod friendly!
Came across this while playing Witcher 3, made me laugh. Hope it fits this sub.

A blog shows that you’re passionate, curious, and have soft skills. Good thing to add to the resume but I wouldn’t give it too much space. Under personal websites or projects would be good.
