For me it was the original blob (which was back then already vintage almost) and this fucked me. I never actually turned anything off except when some of the neighbors gave me a „cool movie about cars“ and then the rat and bucket scene of fast and furious made me turn it off.

Sounds hard If you can’t hook into the neighbours stove or hood. Maybe detect if the hood of the neighbors is turned on through a windspeed sensor (these things that rotate). TBH this sound like you should just fix the mechanism/back flow valve that restricts the airflow coming in if your hood is turned off.

I guess that’s what happens if you call everything smaller than a Hummer “death machine”
