Lemmy sucks.
Yeah, I found out later that beforehand they’d announced a Kalki Cinematic Universe so I bet over in India they know what to expect.
But I also really respect the Infinity War-esque ending to the film. It was a bold choice that I feel like will probably pay off with future installments.
Thanks man, it’s good to see you again too! I really should be more active over here. Maybe I’ll move some of my @Entertainment@narwhal.city posts over here!
When it comes to movies that are already out, I’m really looking forward to watching We’re All Going To The World’s Fair since I LOVED I Saw The TV Glow, as well as Scenes From A Marriage, Marriage Story, and Bamboozled.
Any future Kalki 2898 A.D. sequel, Dune: Messiah, Alien: Romulus, Homestead, Thunderbolts*, Captain America: Brave New World, Am I Racist and Joker: Folie à Deux. I’m also somewhat looking forward to seeing A Real Pain although I’m not exactly excited for it necessarily.
Turns out he was method acting in Deadpool & Wolverine all along
I still don’t really get the choice to have RDJ play Dr. Doom.
Such a sad story. Glad they were found guilty.
First of all, I think it’s a bit faulty to say that progress is good by default, as it is only good if it leaves society in a better state than it was before.
I’d actually argue that progressivism is, in general, pretty regressive, rather that leading to progress, and has led to things like sexism and racism coming back into favor, rather than falling out of favor. This has given us a society where there is now a fair bit of progress needed to get back to where MLK wanted us to be, with people being judged by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin (or their genetalia). There are other things too, such as a return to science, the presumption of innocence before being proven guilty in the eyes of the general public, and more that need to be strived for, but progressivism attempts to take us backwards in regards to those things, rather than taking us forward.
Ah,that makes a lot more sense.
I see. For the record I don’t like progressivism, but it’s not supposed to be a dig at her, just saying that she’s at a protest that is aligned with her ideology, and it makes no sense to be mad at her for attending a protest or rally that’s for a cause that she supports. Seems like a dumb thing to complain about to me.
Progressive
Why would anyone be outraged? She’s a far left activist, I don’t know why anyone would expect her NOT to be there.
I can’t believe this article is new, this happened months ago at the least. @Marbleturtle@theres.life sent me this meme making fun of it earlier this year:
Haha I did get some light chuckles from How Poopy Got His Poop Back. I think the episode was supposed to be slightly serious though so I don’t judge it too much, it’s definitely far from the worst Rick & Morty episode ever
They both sound WAY better in the episode than in the promos. Rick still sounds a little off when shouting, but he isn’t shouting most of the time, which Harmon wisely pointed out in this interview.
I loved it too. The only thing I could think of is, it has a veneer of goofiness that people might find strange or obnoxious.
But it’s one of those few films that I feel like a sociopath wouldn’t enjoy at all due to how emotionally charged it is lol (for legal reasons that’s a joke)
I completely forgot about The New Mutants lol
It almost feels like the theaters aren’t really for people who truly love movies anymore. They center around these tentpole films like Marvel movies, that usually aren’t the bedrock of what true film lovers have a strong appetite for.
