Too much work. If I want to disappoint a lot of people I’ll just go to a family reunion.

Yeah and it’s amazing that they took this crazy idea from a kids cartoon and made it work!

Am I crazy or didn’t we see these in Big Hero 6?
healthcare, education and prisons - You mean Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness? Where have I heard that before?

Dance played the Patrician in the Sky TV production of Going Postal and he just as great as you would expect.

Ok, I’m going to date myself here, but I miss Rep Houses. When / where I grew up, we had three different Rep Houses with in an hour or so, that played a different double bill every night of the week. We’d pick up the poster/calendars show what was going to show each night for the next three months and circle the movies we’d have to see, note which Friday and Saturday might be just for fun.

Discworld - Guards! Guards! Honestly done, with the Pratchett estate approval. With Paul Blackthorne as Vimes, John Cena as Carrot, DJ Qualls as Knoby, Kathy Bates as Lady Sybil, and of course Charles Dance as the Patrician. Sorry I’ve put way too much thought in to this idea.

Yeah, this only leads to troubles.

But … but … Peach are supposed to come in a can.

Honestly I’ve got the kids bedroom tv on a Pi 3 running LibrElec just fine. Kodi isn’t that resource intensive so it works great. But if you’re feeling fancy setting up a db to hold all your info so you can share it on multiple end really is nice. I love being able to stop a movie in the living room because I’m getting tired and pick it up in the bedroom at the exact same spot.

The relationship between Foundation the TV series and Foundation the books is so slight you could almost call it original

I’d also like to point out how good the use of music was on Due South. Bloody amazing soundtracks and it’s OST CD is still on my playlists.

The Middleman. Without a doubt one of the funnest comic book series adaptations. Natalie Morales and Matt Keeslar on a ridonkulas romp of silly yet intelligent adventures. Poor show only got 13 episodes but each ones a gem.

You know that excepting documentaries, they’re all made right? /s
I think you’re really asking which show really went off the rails or at least pooched the endings. If you’re looking for off the rails my favourite crazy story has to be Dallas deciding that an entire season was a dream by having Pam wake up to find Bobby Ewing in the god-damn shower.

Andy Warhol was so close, in the future everyone won’t be famous for 15 minutes. Instead everyone will be famous to 15 people.

Bumping the Lamp. In Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Roger and Eddy are wrestling in a room and Roger (a toon) bumps into a ceiling lamp which starts to swing. Sounds simple and then you realise that Roger is drawn in and as Eddy is pantomiming a wrestling match the effects team managed to swing a ceiling light from off frame and made it look like a simple brush of a cartoons ear.

I’m pretty sure you could do the whole image with various David Tennants, or for bonus points with all Doctors.

I honestly think George Miller would be totally chuffed to hear this.
I’m afraid I’ve got to go old school. If you’re looking for something that was completed but could have gone longer I say Quantum Leap. Don’t get me wrong the finale was great and I loved that Sam decided to keep leaping to help those in need, but man I could use more.
