I don’t mind it so much. Every medium has its quirks, and I honestly find it beautiful to reckon with the affordances and constraints of different media. In a written format, for example, you can make puns that would be much harder to parse if they were spoken. However, when speaking, I don’t have to worry about spelling things correctly, and I am more free to vary the pace of my speech to enhance the rhetorical impact.
It’s harder to make tone clear in written speech, and this is exacerbated by the culture of the internet. In some contexts, this is a bug, but in others, it’s a feature. I quite like that.
