At Waterloo, a site of immense bloodshed, tourists quickly turned the aftermath of war into collectibles.

    [off topic?]

    From the movie ‘Waterloo.’

Back in the day, the Soviets wanted to make a film spectacular version of ‘War And Peace.’ They trained literally thousands of Red Army troops in authentic era military tactics. For this movie they recreated the site of battle as well as they could, using period sources like maps and diaries.

Did this really happen? They sent the calvary to mill around the squares accomplishing nothing?

I don’t remember if it’s in this clip, but there’s a scene in the movie where Napoleon is screaming about the general sending in cavalry without infantry to support it.

        Whole movie.

There were viewers of civil war battles. They’d make a picnic of it and watch like a theater play.

There are no bones marking the greatest last fight of Napoleon. Because the bodies were dug up and sold for fertilizer.

Idk about you guys but I’ve never expected anything less than ghoulish behavior from serial colonizers and rapists like the brtsh.

This behavior tracks as white culture.
