I was very apprehensive about this show before it came out. I had heard preproduction rumors for at least a couple of years before.

The show is fantastic. Really. Whomever is making it really cares that they get it right.

easy one: Jurassic Park (1993)

I had read the book, maybe, a dozen times before the film came out, and holy shit was I disappointed. crushed, really. Not just in what they changed, but also what they left out. it totally ruined for me books adapted to film. any time I see a film based on a book I’ve read, I’m always let down.

They probably do, they just see it as against their interest.
