Not sure why you’re downvoted, but I think you’re close to at least partial reason. Having one device last a few years makes it easier to replace under warranty, if what you’re truly trying to do is provide superior customer service over competition (they probably have lost of spare parts, as it makes sense to order bulk and of extras, unless you’re super greedy company who has no faith in its product).
And as I assume you’re suggesting, they’re going to make their money on the games that people buy to play on that device, so why waste effort on making miniscule improvements that may end up hurting your brand and labelling you a money grabber.
Don’t get me wrong, Valve know how to make lots of money, but I bet they’re smart enough to try and do it in a “sustainable” way from their perspective.

It’s ok, kind of predictable and switch your brain off tv show, but reasonably entertaining…for now.
Watched first season and enjoyed it but now with next episode coming up on Saturday I’ll decide whether to keep watching, as it’s getting a bit meh. Especially since they introduced a bunch of new seemingly important characters played by a few recognizable straight-to-video movie actors, kind of gives me a feeling that the whole story may go in a particular direction

Sadly it’s not, and navigating around it takes a little bit of getting used to (trying to close a video for example is a somewhat counter intuitive). But I’ll take it over adds in youtube. That being said, I used it sparsely, as I don’t have much I want to watch there except play the odd song or maybe one or two other videos a week.

Tubular fork of newpipe works on AndroidTV, don’t know if newpipe itself does but last time I checked it didn’t. So I use it on both tv and phone.

By the way, what’s the ioniq 5 to live with so far overall? And is that the new shape or the previous model. I do quite like the new retro shape, although the range of ioniq 6 is impressive as well (less so the design in some colours)

Interesting, luckily don’t really expect those temps in lower mainland BC so the other link was handy as they did their tests at -2 to -10 C. Still that’s a noticeable drop if you don’t have particularly good range to begin with.
