You’re right that it doesn’t mean cash on hand, but it does indicate they could liquidate some of that or borrow against it themselves.

Okay, that’s a fair point as to that comment not making it more sexist than racist, but not for it only being racist. I don’t see anything in the story pointing to race over sex.
Almost exactly the same happened to me (though I had uploaded exactly one innocuous video a few months earlier) recently and my appeal was accepted within a couple days
What in the joke makes him racist but not misogynistic?
There’s nothing in the joke saying she’s either the only black person or the only woman in the bar. In fact you could say that there’s more pointing to him being misogynistic in that he says “this woman” and not “this black person”.
To me it reads as both
FE2 is my 35mm camera of choice, good taste! Though to be honest, i rarely shoot film and when I do it’s usually 645 on my Mamiya
Yes, really good show though the ending isn’t terribly satisfying to me
I fucking love rice. Sometimes I scoop some rice out of my rice cooker and eat it straight off the paddle. It’s also great with other things!
FYI, We know the way is in Samoan and Tokelauan.
Fun fact, Disney worked with the University of Hawaii on a Hawaiian language dub of the movie and Auili’i Cravalho voiced Moana in that version as well. I watch it on occasion to practice my very poor Hawaiian language skills.
Apparently Everest is 157 miles tall?
SHOUTING_SNAKE_CASE aka SCREAMING_SNAKE_CASE is the best case for all use cases, because it gives you a chance to use its wonderful names.
Am gay; can confirm.
Not at all, I really like Boromir’s story, but that’s why I’m surprised. I feel like his development got a lot of attention, and even though Faramir was around for longer in the story, he never seemed quite as prominent to me. I guess that duration made up for the attention boromir got early on, though.
Biggest surprise to me is that Faramir has more mentions in the books than Boromir.
The Matrix in the theater was just amazing not knowing anything going into it. I thought it was gonna be some generic sci-fi action popcorn flick and was so wrong. Honorable mention to Knives Out and Everything Everywhere All At Once, both incredible movies in ways I didn’t expect.
This makes sense, I’ve largely been trying to use it for things I do regularly, and I’m pretty senior, having been in the industry for some time, so I tend not to be asking the questions that will have a million examples out there. But then again, these are the sorts of things that it will need to be able to do to replace people in industry.
I’m amazed how overstated llm ability to program is. I keep trying, and I’ve yet to have any model output so much as a single function that ran correctly without modification. Beyond that it has made up APIs when I’ve asked about approaches to problems, and I’ve given it code to find bugs and memory issues I think are fairly obvious and it fails every time.
This is absolutely correct but still not the whole story. Recycling for glass and aluminum and steel can be done essentially infinitely creating a largely closed loop (though for glass in particular we really need to return to our old reuse practices). By using the same language for plastic as we do for better recycling methods we still make plastic recycling sound better than it is, even when reduction and reuse are emphasized.
How can there be no genders if they’re revealing ganders which are expressly male?
It’s certainly not moving as fast as their promises (what ever does), and perhaps has slowed, but for me at least it’s too early to call a plateau. Perhaps someone who works in the field or follows more closely can provide a better characterization, though.
Why couldn’t they just make a sequel to birds of prey? That movie was great and Margot Robbie was fantastic.
