My cotton ball needed summer shorts recently too, enjoy.
(Disclaimer that he is a rescue and, while he is very loved, I do not support the breeding of brachycephalic animals)
Albino Lorax
He definitely looks like his sneezes are sawdusty.
As long as you make sure he can breath unobstructed. People who buy these breeds willingly and then don’t even have a vet check their breathing (I know from dogs they more often than not can’t breath through their nose without surgery) should honestly be treated like animal abusers. Same with Sphynx cats (though those unfortunately can’t be treated to have fur again…), I do not understand what’s wrong with people sometimes, is their empathy switch turned off or sth…
I can assure you he is well taken care of, and thankfully has very wide nostrils for a Persian and will likely not require any surgery. He actually came from a rescue specializing in Persians because so many of them end up in rescue situations. It’s sad he exists, but he is safe, loved, and as healthy as he can be now.
I hope he’s OK. This picture is hilarious. Thanks for this.
Probably a pre-surgery fur trim situation I think.
That makes sense. Thanks for the comment.
once all my animals had checkups on the same day that required shaving their forearms (forelimbs?), so it looked like they were all in a little punk gang for a week
(also rip my wallet)
Excuse me but your punk gang pet tax is due.
I’ll see if I can find that week in my camera roll.
