As best as I can figure out without doing any research…
A fan of a voice actor has decided that they are in a relationship with the VA’s character (yumeship). They therefore want the VA to dump their real girlfriend, and they want the VA to also delete pictures of themself they’ve posted, because the fan is jealous that other people can see their “fictional other” (like significant other, but you know, fictional).
The fan expects the VA to do all these things because an AI chatbot based on the VA’s character said they would.
Shame they can’t rig these chat bots to trick these people into fixing themselves. Be like “Hey, let’s take a shower and go outside today” or “how are your job applications going?” but I guess them getting their shit together wouldn’t be good for engagement…
There was a study done about that. They set up an LLM with guardrails to gently guide climate deniers toward science. it had a relatively high rate of success in the near term.

Thanks for the explanation. I think I regret asking about this now. This is just mental.
Agreed, I’m dumber for having read this far into the comments.

Fun. Makes you wonder if the big AI players aren’t already subtly doing this already to steer their users in other directions…
Oh I don’t wonder.
you, i like you.
How the fuck is lusting over anime characters a sexuality?
That’s a fairly wild Wikipedia photo isn’t it? Although it does explain an awful lot.
What, this?
That’s literally my room after I clean up for the picture.
Good for you for cleaning your room :)
It’s only clean within the visible light spectrum.
I mean sure, but that’s true for most people’s homes. We don’t live in industrial cleanrooms.
I think he’s implying that there’s semen everywhere.
I wish…
That’s what I got on first reading, but it’s just so fucking bonkers.
This is why being famous is something I wish only on my worst enemies.
